HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS

TO BE HONORED

Make plans to join us for worship on Sunday, May 18, at the 10:30 service as we honor our graduating high school seniors:  Ted Crabtree, Keaton Frewen, and Sara Miller.

Our worship that day will provide a centering moment for a full and exciting day for these youth and their families.  It is a momentous occasion and it is appropriate for us to begin in prayer and worship together, asking God’s guidance and presence in the lives of these young people.

If you cannot attend worship that day, please be with us in prayer and thought.

CONFIRMATION SUNDAY

SET FOR MAY 25

After much shuffling with the end of school calendar and all the activities, we have set Confirmation Sunday for May 25.

At that time, our confirmands will stand before the church and make a decision to serve Christ through the work of this United Methodist Church.  They will be confirmed in the faith that was claimed at their baptism and continue on that life-long journey.

Our confirmands are Gavin Cooper, Allison Grice, Caitlin Northrup, and Lucas Raile.  Please keep them in your prayers as we complete our work together and strive to discern God’s will in their lives.

YOUTH CENTER

TAKING SHAPE

“I love it when a plan comes together.”  That’s what they used to say on the television show “The A-Team” and boy, did we see a plan come together over the last month for our youth center at the education building.

We now have a pool table, ping pong table, air hockey and dart board for our youth to use for recreation and fellowship.  The area has been spruced up and we’re still working on a couple of ideas – but oh my how it came together was a thing of beauty.

On April 27, with the leadership of Roger Jensen, Robert and Debbie Grace, and Dan and Rita Stephens, our youth got the pool table upstairs and leveled, cleaned and polished all the equipment, and then started playing!  It was a thing of beauty!

Special thanks to all the youth who came and helped – you were awesome!

Guidelines for the use of the area at times other than Sunday and Wednesday are being prepared so our youth can use the space and invite friends.  With $4.00 gas coming, it’s just in the nick of time.

I LOVE IT WHEN A PLAN COMES TOGETHER!
